Story mfg. may draw upon military references but their intentions are definitely peaceful. The Grain Jacket is clearly inspired by yesteryear's flight and bomber jackets. reworked in the brand's natural materials and old-world manufacturing techniques.

As part of Story's Wonky-Wear collection. this jacket has been manufactured on vintage single needle machines and a looser tolerance for precision has been exercised. resulting in purposely wonky stitching. This very human touch is exemplified by the hand block printed checkerboard lining and hand knit ribbing.
